Town of St. Jacques - Coomb's Cove Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of St. Jacques ‑ Coomb's Cove Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of St. Jacques ‑ Coomb's Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 806/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point in the eastern shoreline of Great Bay De L'eau, that point being the most western point of land at the northern entrance of Wreck Cove and then running due east a distance of 15,400 metres, more or less, to a point on the western shoreline of Fortune Bay;

Then running in a generally southerly direction along the point of land at the eastern entrance to St. Jacques Harbour;

Then running in a generally westerly direction along the sinuosities of the southern shoreline of Fortune Bay by way of the harbour of St. Jacques, Otter Cove Point, Blue Pinion Harbour, English Harbour, English Harbour Back Cove, the harbour of Great Ma Jambe, the harbour of Little Ma Jambe, Boxey Back Cove, Saucepan Cove, Boxey Harbour, the shorelines of Boxey Point Promontory and St. John's Harbour to the most southern point of St. John's Head;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of Great Bay De L'eau by way of Coomb's Cove, Fox Harbour, Blunder Cove and Wreck Cove to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
