Town of Seal Cove Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Seal Cove Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Seal Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 168/94 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point at highwater mark in the shoreline at Pound Head at the northern entrance to Seal Cove;

Then running north 75° east 3,050 metres, more or less;

Then running south 35° east 3,350 metres, more or less;

Then running south 46° 30' west 1,525 metres, more or less;

Then running due west 2,150 metres, more or less, to a point at highwater mark at the eastern shoreline of Southern Arm;

Then running in a generally northerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline via Southern Arm Head, the harbour of Seal Cove and Lucies Point to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
