Town of Sunnyside Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Sunnyside Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Sunnyside are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 823/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at the point of highest elevation of Centre Hill and then running south a distance of 6,400 metres, more or less, to a point at the mouth of an unnamed brook on the east shoreline of Bull Arm;

Then running in a generally northwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to the extreme northwest angle point of Bull Arm;

Then running in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of the western shoreline to the extreme southwest angle point of Bull Arm;

Then running in a generally southeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point at the southern entrance of Little Mosquito Cove;

Then running west a distance of 4,875 metres, more or less, to a point in the eastern limit of the Trans Canada Highway Reservation;

Then running in a generally northerly direction along the eastern limit of the highway to a point located a distance of 1,225 metres, more or less, south of the junction of the road to Goobies and the Trans Canada Highway;

Then running south 73° east a distance 6,550 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
