Community of Tilting Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Tilting Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Tilting are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 850/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point on the eastern shoreline of Fogo Island where an unnamed brook empties into the southwest corner of Wild Cove;

Then running south 75° west a distance of 3,150 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern shoreline of an unnamed lake;

Then south 25° east to the most northerly point of an unnamed lake;

Then due east a distance of 4,150 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern shoreline of Fogo Island;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally northerly direction around Oliver's Cove, Tilting Harbour and Sandy Cove to a point where an unnamed brook empties into the southwest corner of Wild Cove, the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
