Town of Trepassey Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Trepassey Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Trepassey are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 844/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point on the east bank of Broom River where that bank intersects the western shoreline of Trepassey Harbour at highwater mark;

Then running north a distance of 8,900 metres;

Then running east a distance of 7,700 metres;

Then running south 8,325 metres to a point at highwater mark on the western shoreline of Biscay Bay known locally as Back Cove Point;

Then running at highwater mark along the sinuosities of the southern shoreline of Trepassey Bay, via Cape Mutton, Mutton Bay, Powles Head, Beach Point, Sims Point, the bridge at Northeast Brook, Daniel's Point, the bridge at Northwest Brook and Meadow Point, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
