Town of Triton Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Triton Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Triton are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 846/78 and 344/80 are repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point being the southwestern extremity of West Arm;

Then south 55° west a distance of 1,275 metres, more or less, to the most easterly extremity of Long Arm;

Then south 2° 15' west a distance of 2,350 metres, more or less, to the most easterly extremity of Servier Pt.;

Then following the shoreline of Triton Island in northeasterly and northerly directions to Ragged Pt.;

Then continuing along the shoreline of Triton Island in westerly and southerly directions to the point of beginning.

All offshore islands, excepting Grassy Island and Great Tinker Island, are included.
