Community of Whiteway, Trinity Bay Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96‑170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Whiteway, Trinity Bay Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Whiteway, Trinity Bay are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 864/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point in the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay at the northern entrance to Whiteway Bay, that point being locally known as Witless Bay Point;

Then running south 56° east a distance of 2,600 metres, more or less, to a point in the centre line of abandoned railway right‑of‑way;

Then running south 87° east a distance of 5,350 metres, more or less, to a point;

Then south 13° west a distance of 4,425 metres, more or less;

Then running a distance of 5,350 metres, more or less, to a point on the western road reserve of Route 80;

Then running in a generally northerly direction along the reserve a distance of 1,525 metres, more or less, to a point;

Then running north 70° west a distance of 1,425 metres, more or less, to a point in the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay;

Then running in a generally northerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline via Whiteway Bay to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
