Community of Woody Point, Bonne Bay Order

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis

Short title

1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Woody Point, Bonne Bay Order.

Boundaries

2. The boundaries of the Community of Woody Point, Bonne Bay are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

3. Newfoundland Regulations 868/78 and 30/80 are repealed.

Schedule

Commencing at a point on the western shoreline of Bonne Bay north of Curzon, that point having UTM co‑ordinates north 5 485 009 metres and east 433 377 metres;

Then due west a distance of 381 metres to a point having UTM co‑ordinates north 5 485 009 metres and east 432 995 metres;

Then due south a distance of 1,280 metres to a point on the bank of an unnamed brook having UTM co‑ordinates north 5 483 729 metres and east 432 988 metres;

Then crossing the brook south 31° west a distance of 2,237 metres to a point on the northern limit of Route 431 having UTM co‑ordinates north 5 481 829 metres and east 431 805 metres;

Then south 20° east a distance of 624 metres to a point having UTM co‑ordinates north 5 481 274 metres and east 432 091 metres;

Then running south 74° east a distance of 791 metres to a point on the low water mark of the shoreline of South Arm, Bonne Bay having UTM co‑ordinates north 5 481 061 metres and east 432 853 metres;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline through Hell Cove, Paynes Point, Woody Point and Crolly Cove to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to grid north.
