Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Clark's Brook Water Supply Area for the Town of Halfway Point ‑ Benoits Cove ‑ John's Beach ‑ Frenchman's Cove as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 413000 5424000 45° 30' for a distance of 900 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 42° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,800 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 85° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,080 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 95° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,000 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 134° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,300 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 177° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 4,380 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 120° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 180° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,080 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 282° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,580 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 265° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,040 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 13° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,400 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 348° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 3,700 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
