Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act
(O.C. 96‑153)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Gander Lake Water Supply Area for the Towns of Gander, Glenwood and Appleton as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference zone 21 670000 metres east, 5410000 metres north, 349° 00' for a distance of 9,500 metres to the point of commencement;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 260° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 8,350 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 242° 45' grid azimuth for a distance of 4,700 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 287° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 6,750 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 6° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 6,250 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 52° 15' grid azimuth for a distance of 7,000 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 87° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 950 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 152° 15' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,600 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 91° 15' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,750 metres;

then from the above point by a line drawn 141° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,500 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 94° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 3,250 metres;
