Notice of Protected Watershed Area
under the
Environment Act
(O.C. 96‑153)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Southern Cove Pond Watershed Area as a protected watershed area.

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 210000 22° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,350 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 112° 15' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,300 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 28° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,275 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 279° 45' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,300 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 279° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,150 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 217° 45' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,325 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 151° 15' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,500 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
