Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act
(O.C. 96‑153)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Stanhope Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Lewisporte as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 638000 5455000 297° 00' for a distance of 670 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 16° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 750 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 38° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,900 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 137° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,600 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 237° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 850 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 207° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 650 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 173° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,000 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn 266° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,600 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
