under the
Judgment Interest Act

Under the authority of section 6 of the Judgment Interest Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

1. This Order may be cited as the Judgment Interest Order.

2. Effective January 1, 1996, the pre‑judgment and post‑judgment interest rate shall be 6%.

3. The Judgment Interest Order, 1996, Newfoundland Regulation 150/95, is repealed.
