Under the authority of section 3 of the Trustee Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Analysis

Short title

1. This Order may be cited as the Bonds, Debentures, Debenture Stock and Other Securities of Loan Companies Order.

Investment of trust funds

2. The bonds, debentures, debenture stock and other securities, insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, issued by the following loan companies are approved for the investment of trust funds:

Canada Trustco Mortgage Company Central Guaranty Mortgage Corporation First City Mortgage Company The Royal Trust Company Mortgage Corporation.

Repeal

3. The Bonds, Debentures, Debenture Stock and Other Securities of Loan Companies Order, 1990, Newfoundland Regulation 49/90, is repealed.
