Under the authority of section 3 of the Trustee Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Investment Certificates of Trust Companies Order.

Approved investment certificates

        2. The investment certificates, insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, issued by the following trust companies are approved for the investment of trust funds:

The Canada Trust Company

Central Guaranty Trust Company

First City Trust Company

Fortis Trust Corporation

Household Trust Company

Investors Group Trust Company Limited

Metropolitan Trust Company of Canada

Montreal Trust Company

Montreal Trust Company of Canada

The Royal Trust Company

Royal Trust Corporation of Canada

Prenor Trust Company of Canada.

Repeal

        3. The Investment Certificates of Trust Companies Order, 1990, Newfoundland Regulation 48/90, is repealed.
