Baie Verte Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Baie Verte Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at the point at which South Brook enters the eastern shore of Baie Verte;

Then following the limits of the watershed of South Brook and all tributaries and ponds feeding this brook in a generally easterly and southerly direction crossing the La Scie Highway near Side Pond to a point at which that watershed meets the southern limits of the watershed of Southwest Brook and all tributaries and ponds feeding this brook;

Then in a generally westerly and southerly direction along the limits of that watershed crossing the Burlington and Baie Verte Highways to the point at which that watershed joins the southern limits of the watershed of Baie Verte River and all tributaries and ponds feeding this river;

Then in a generally northerly direction along the limits of that watershed crossing the Seal Cove and Wild Cove Highways to the point at which the limits of that watershed join the westerly limits of the watershed of Rattling Brook and all tributaries and ponds feeding this brook;

Then in a generally northerly direction along the limits of that watershed to a point at which the limits of that watershed join the western limits of the watershed of Lower Duck Island Cove Brook and all tributaries and ponds feeding this brook;

Then in a generally northerly direction along the limits of that watershed to the point at which that watershed joins the western limits of the watershed of Slaughter House Cove Brook and all tributaries and ponds feeding this brook;

Then in a generally northerly and easterly direction along the limits of that watershed crossing the Coachman's Cove Highway to the point at which Slaughter House Cove Brook enters the western shore of Baie Verte;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction following the western shore of Baie Verte to Fire Cove Big Head;

Then in a generally southerly direction across Baie Verte to the point of beginning.
