CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND REGULATION 816/96

Bide Arm Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑202)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Bide Arm Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point, that point being at the highwater mark on the eastern shoreline of Chimney Bay and having a military grid reference of 609327;

Then following the municipal boundary of the community of Roddickton due east a distance of 1.5 kilometres, more or less;

Then continuing along the Roddickton boundary north 69° 30' east a distance of 2.1 kilometres, more or less;

Then due east a distance of 914.4 metres, more or less;

Then due south a distance of 5.94 kilometres, more or less, to the northernmost tip of a pond locally known as Big Burnt Brook Pond;

Then along the eastern shoreline of Big Burnt Brook Pond in a generally southwesterly direction to a point on the southernmost end of the pond where an unnamed brook flows out of the pond;

Then in a generally westerly, northerly and westerly direction along the centre line of the brook to the highwater mark of Bide Arm;

Then in a generally northerly, westerly and southerly direction along the shoreline of Bide Arm passing Miot Point Milan Point and Seal Cove to a point known as Bide Head;

Then in a generally northerly direction along the eastern shoreline of Chimney Bay passing Hardy Harbour, Marten Point, Saltwater Point and Cabin Point, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
