Fogo Central Local Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Fogo Central Local Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

The Fogo‑Seldom Road, Route 333, commencing at a point 2,990 metres, more or less, south of its intersection with the road to Deep Bay, Route 333.18, and coincident with the northern boundary of the Town of Seldom ‑ Little Seldom to a point 6,095 metres, more or less, north of the intersection and coincident with the southeastern planning area boundary of the Town of Fogo, and the road to Joe Batt's Arm, Route 334, commencing from its point of intersection with the Fogo‑Seldom Road, Route 333, east to a point 2,750 metres, more or less, to a point where an unnamed brook flowing into Shoal Bay crosses the road and coincident with the southern boundary of the Town of Joe Batt's Arm ‑ Barr'd Islands ‑ Shoal Bay, and the road to Deep Bay, Route 333.18, commencing from its point of intersection with the Fogo‑Seldom Road, Route 333, west a distance of 5,250 metres, more or less, to a point 100 metres from its intersection with the local road in Deep Bay, the planning area boundary to extend 600 metres on either side of the centre line of Routes 333, 333.18 and 600 metres south of the centre line of Route 334, north of Route 334 the boundary shall extend 600 metres from the centre line of the road but shall parallel the old portion of the road to Joe Batt's Arm from its point of intersection with Route 334 to its point of intersection with Route 333.
