Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 1996 CONSOLIDATED Forteau
Municipal Planning Area Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Forteau Municipal Planning Area. PLANNING Beginning at a point where Forteau Brook
flows into Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally southwesterly direction passing Hawkin's Point, Admiral Point, Chimney Head and Forteau Point a distance of 13,100 metres, more or less, to a point; Then north 15° west a distance of 11,887 metres, more or less; Then north 5° east a distance of 1,600 metres, more or less, to the southern tip of an unnamed pond; Then in a generally northeasterly direction along the shoreline of the pond a distance of 200 metres, more or less, to a point on the northern bank of an unnamed brook where the brook flows out of the pond; Then along the northern bank of the brook in a generally northeasterly direction a distance of 2,600 metres, more or less, to a point on the northern bank of the brook where the brook flows into an unnamed pond; Then along the northern shoreline of the pond in a generally northerly and easterly direction a distance of 3,350 metres, more or less, to a point on the western bank of an unnamed brook where the brook flows into the unnamed pond; Then along the western bank of the before mentioned unnamed brook in a generally northerly direction a distance of 2,100 metres, more or less, to the southern bank of an unnamed brook where the unnamed brook flows into the before mentioned brook; Then north 70° east a distance of 4,750 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then south 3° 14' east 2,654 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill having an elevation of 319 metres; Then south 35° 42' east a distance of 4,156 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill having an elevation of 251 metres; Then south 71° 55' east a distance of 1,288 metres to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then south 20° 24' west a distance of 2,294 metres, more or less; Then south 50° 58' east a distance of 1,450 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern limit of the right‑of‑way of Route 87; Then in a generally southwesterly direction along the southern limit of the right‑of‑way a distance of 4,200 metres, more or less, to a point on the right‑of‑way where the right‑of‑way turns and heads in a northwesterly direction; Then south 55° west a distance of 350 metres, more or less, to a point on the shoreline of Forteau Bay; Then following the
