Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 1996 CONSOLIDATED Irishtown
Municipal Planning Area Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Irishtown Municipal Planning Area. PLANNING Beginning at a point, that point being the centre point of the bridge over Hughes Brook; Then following the centre thread of Hughes Brook in a generally northeasterly direction a distance of 1,128 metres, more or less, to the easterly bend of that brook; Then due west a distance of 2,042 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then north 16° 30' west 1,200 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then north 43° 30' west 750 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then north 22° east 2,150 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then south 80° west 1,750 metres, more or less; Then south 22° west 4,200 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then due south 1,980 metres, more or less, to the highwater mark on the shoreline of Inner Aspen Cove on the Humber Arm; Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline of the Humber Arm in a generally easterly direction to the centre point of Hughes Brook where Hughes Brook flows into the Humber Arm; Then following the centre thread of Hughes Brook to the point of beginning.
