Kippens Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Kippens Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at the mouth of Gadon's Brook and following that brook to a power transmission line and then along that line to the northeastern end of Island Pond;

Then running north 1,800 metres, more or less;

Then running north 6° west 2,300 metres, more or less, to Romaines Brook and following that brook to the coast;

Then following the coastline of St. George's Bay to the mouth of Gadon's Brook, the place of beginning.

All bearings being referred to UTM grid and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 mapping.
