LaScie Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the LaScie Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point between Big Cove and Hill Graplin Cove known as Sleepy Lion Point;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction along the shoreline and passing White Cove, LaScie Harbour, Sleepy Point, Reddits Cove, Duggins Tilt Cove to Cape St. John;

Then in a generally southeasterly direction along the shoreline and passing North Bill, Seal Island Bight, Cape Cove to a point known as South Bill;

Then south 53° 30' west a distance of 8,800 metres, more or less, to the northwestern end of an unnamed pond;

Then south 67° west a distance of 7,400 metres, more or less;

Then due north a distance of 7,650 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
