CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND REGULATION 876/96

Little Catalina Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Little Catalina Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point in the most northern end of Lookout Long Pond;

Then running north 31° west a distance of 1,900 metres, more or less, to the most western point of the Little Catalina town boundary;

Then running north 77° west a distance of 2,050 metres;

Then running north 56° 15' east a distance of 6,650 metres, more or less, to the planning boundary of Elliston;

Then following a common boundary with Elliston in a generally southeastern direction a distance of 3,600 metres, more or less, to where an unnamed brook flows into Trinity Bay;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally southerly direction to the southern extremity of North Head;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally southwesterly direction to Cuckhold Head;

Then following the sinuosities of the harbour of Little Catalina to a point at the highwater mark on the western shore of Trinity Bay, that point being coincident with the Catalina town boundary;

Then following a common boundary with Catalina in a generally northwesterly direction to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
