Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 1996 CONSOLIDATED Nain
Municipal Planning Area Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Nain Municipal Planning Area. PLANNING Beginning at a point on the highwater mark of the shoreline of Southern Point, that point being 3,000 metres, more or less, from the Nain community wharf, as measured on a bearing of south 64° east from that wharf; Then running south 84° 30' west a distance of 8,750 metres to a point, that point being approximately 300 metres east of an unnamed pond; Then running north 10° east a distance of 4,000 metres to a point on the highwater mark of the shoreline of the ocean; Then following the
sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally east and south direction, passing
