Peterview Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑202)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the Peterview Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at the site of the destroyed bridge near the mouth of Peters River and following an abandoned highway route to its intersection with the highway to Peterview;

Then south 35° 30' east 4,400 metres, more or less, to the northern shoreline of Exploits River;

Then following the shoreline northeastwardly to Wigwam Point;

Then following the shoreline of Bay of Exploits by way of Upper Sandy Point and Little Peter Point to the place of beginning.

The bearing refers to UTM grid and as with distance given is subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 mapping.
