CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND REGULATION 929/96

St. Lewis Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96‑173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the St. Lewis Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point, that point being on the southeastern end of Black Cove in Petty Harbour;

Then in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline passing Black Head, Shoal Point, Southern Head, Deepwater Creek to a point on the easternmost tip of Cape St. Lewis;

Then in a generally southerly and westerly direction along the shoreline to a point in Fox Harbour known as Fishermen Point;

Then continuing along the shoreline in a generally westerly and northerly direction to a point where an unnamed pond flows into Port Marnham;

Then along the eastern end of that pond in a generally northeasterly direction to a point where an unnamed stream flows into the pond;

Then along the southern bank of that stream in an easterly direction to a point where the stream flows out of an unnamed pond;

Then along the southern shore of that pond in a generally southeasterly direction to a point where an unnamed stream flows into the pond;

Then along the southern bank of that stream in a southeasterly direction to a point where the stream flows out of an unnamed pond;

Then along the southern shore of that pond in a southeasterly direction to the easternmost end of the pond;

Then north 40° east a distance of 2,950 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
