Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council defines the following area as the St. Pauls Municipal Planning Area.
Beginning at St. Pauls Point and then along a line of demarcation with the Cow Head Municipal Planning Area running due east 3,975 metres, more or less, and south 73° 30' east 2,500 metres, more or less, to a point bearing north 50° 53' 41" east 1,000 metres from Iron Post No. 1022, Gros Morne National Park, Regional Surveyor Plan No. 82‑14, that post having co‑ordinates 5 525 943.436 metres north and 358 011.496 metres east;
Then along a line of demarcation with the national park running south 50° 53' 41" west 1,000 metres to that Post No. 1022, and proceeding south 50° 53' 41" west to and then generally southward and eastward along the low water shoreline of St. Pauls Inlet to a point and from that point crossing St. Pauls Inlet south 11° 00' west 3,600 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern shoreline, that point having approximate co‑ordinates of 5 519 870 metres north and 357 900 metres east, and running generally westward along the low water shoreline of St. Pauls Inlet to a point and from that point north 86° 30' west 2,550 metres, more or less, to a point at co‑ordinates 5 519 950 metres north and 353 250 metres east, and north 46° 00' west 3,720 metres, more or less, to a coastal point directly distant approximately 0.75 kilometres northeastward from Broom Point;

coastline generally northeastward along the
