Approved Public Utilities Order
under the
Trustee Act
(O.C. 96‑266)

Under the authority of paragraph 3(i) of the Trustee Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

        1.   Short title

        2.   Public utilities approved

        3.   Repeal

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Approved Public Utilities Order.

Public utilities approved

        2. Under paragraph 3(i) of the Trustee Act, trustees may invest trust funds in the bonds, debentures or other securities of the following approved public utilities:

             (a)  Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro Inc.;

             (b)  Newfoundland Light & Power Co. Limited;

             (c)  Newtel Communications Limited.

Repeal

        3. The Approved Public Utilities Order, 1994, Newfoundland Regulation 133/94, is repealed.
