Grand Codroy Provincial Park Proclamation
under the
Provincial Parks Act
(O.C. 96‑189)

Under the authority of section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the Schedule to be a provincial park.

                   The Proclamation re: Grand Codroy Provincial Park, Newfoundland Regulation 112/87, is repealed.


Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Doyles in the province, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point in the northern limit of an old road, 20.12 metres wide, leading to T.C.H., that point having co‑ordinates of north 5,299,544.415 metres and east 252,227.266 metres;

Then running along the northern limit of the old road north 28° 26' 04" east 26.07 metres, north 43° 59' 50" east 106.007 metres, north 52° 15' 52" east 179.603 metres, north 51° 53' 07" east 117.496 metres;

Then running by land of Kevin Doyle north 28° 18' 25" west 210.636 metres;

Then running along the low water mark of Grand Codroy River in a generally southwesterly, westerly and southerly direction for a distance of 1,570 metres;

Then running along the low water mark of a lagoon in a generally southeasterly, northeasterly, southerly, easterly, northerly, southerly, southwesterly and southeasterly direction for a distance of 1,060 metres;

Then running by land of John Gabriel Sr., Crown Lands Vol. 54 Fol. 119, south 33° 05' 00" east 24.61 metres;

Then running along the northern limit of Grand Codroy Road, Route 52, 30 metres wide, north 56° 56' 00" east 340 metres, north 65° 07' 00" east 53.05 metres;

Then running by land of Frederick White north 28° 32' 00" west 100.94 metres, north 61° 03' 00" east 29.97 metres, south 28° 43' 00" east 6.81 metres, south 89° 50' 00" east 23.98 metres, south 28° 29' 00" east 77.48 metres;

Then running along the northern side of the old road north 61° 14' 00" east 11.49 metres;

Then running by land of Rita Gabriel north 27° 29' 00" east 54.46 metres, north 66° 13' 00" east 76.86 metres, south 28° 19' 00" east 59.17 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning and containing an area of 32.1 hectares, more or less, which land is more particularly shown and delineated on attached plan.

All bearings being referred to the central meridian of 58° 30' west longitude.
