Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

THE CITY OF CORNER BROOK ACT, 1985

1. Section 242 of The City of Corner Brook Act, 1985 is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following:

(3) The council or its employees or agents may take an action by way of prosecution or other legal proceeding including but not limited to an application for an injunction or declaratory relief which the council or its employees or agents consider necessary to enforce section 241 or an order made under that section.

THE CITY OF MOUNT PEARL ACT

2. Section 239 of The City of Mount Pearl Act is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following:

(3) The council or its employees or agents may take an action by way of prosecution or other legal proceeding including but not limited to an application for an injunction or declaratory relief which the council or its employees or agents consider necessary to enforce section 238 or an order made under that section.

THE MUNICIPALITIES ACT

3. Section 211 of The Municipalities Act is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following:
