Powers & duties of hospital boards

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

1. Subsection 18(1) of The Hospitals Act, 1971 is amended by adding immediately after paragraph (f) the following:

(f.1) subject to the approval of the minister, to receive loans from governmental, municipal or other bodies, public or private, or from other persons, and to pay interest and establish sinking funds on those loans and to repay those loans;
