AN ACT TO AMEND THE HIGHWAY TRAFFIC ACT (NO.2)

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

RSN 1990 cH-3

1. Section 42 of the Highway Traffic Act is amended by adding immediately after paragraph (b) the following:

(b.1) defaces, alters or removes the manufacturer's vehicle identification number or other identifying mark of a vehicle;

2. Subsection 170(1) of the Act is amended by deleting the word "report" and substituting the words "make a written report of".

3. The Schedule to the Act is amended by adding immediately below the row and columns commencing with the numbers "42(b)" the following:
