AN ACT TO AMEND THE LAW SOCIETY ACT
(Assented to June 18, 1993)

2. Commencement

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

1. Section 72 of the Law Society Act is amended by repealing subsection (2) and by substituting the following:

(2) The board shall transfer 2/3 of the net revenue received in each calendar year directly to the Newfoundland Legal Aid Commission.

Commencement

2. This Act is considered to have come into force on January 1, 1992.
