AN ACT TO AMEND THE JUDICATURE ACT

(Assented to December 17, 1993)

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:


RSN1990 cJ-4 as amended

1. Subsection 22(1) of the Judicature Act is amended by striking out the word "Brigus".

Matters transferred

2. Where a matter was pending before the court at Brigus on April 30, 1992, that matter shall be considered to have been transferred to the judicial centre of St. John's where it shall be heard, determined and disposed of as if it had originated in St. John's.

Commencement

3. This Act is considered to have come into force on April 30, 1992.
