AN ACT TO AMEND THE CHIROPRACTORS ACT

(Assented to December 17, 1993)

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

1. Section 10 of the Chiropractors Act is amended by renumbering it as subsection (1) and by adding immediately after subsection (1) the following:

(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), the board shall, for a period of 3 months from the date this subsection comes into force, register as a chiropractor and issue a licence to practice chiropractic to every person who would have been entitled to be registered and to be licensed under subsection (1) if he or she had applied to be registered and licensed during the 1 year period contained in that subsection.
