Statutes of Newfoundland 1994 CHAPTER 16 AN ACT TO AMEND THE LOAN AND (Assented to December 16, 1994) Analysis 1. Schedule Amdt. 2. 1987 c.31 Schedule Amdt. 3. 1989 c.8 Schedule Amdt. 4. 1990 c.41 Schedule Amdt. 5. 1993 c.11 Schedule Amdt. 6. 1993 c.30 Schedule Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: 1957 No.70 as amended 1. The Schedule to The Loan and Guarantee Act, 1957 is amended by adding the following:
1987 c.31 2. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending item 22 of the Schedule - A.L. Stuckless and Sons Limited - as enacted by chapter 31 of 1987, as amended by paragraph 6(i) of chapter 8 of 1989, paragraph 3(b) of chapter 5 of 1990, paragraph 2(a) of chapter 6 of 1991, paragraph 3(a) of chapter 4 of 1992 and paragraph 3(c) of chapter 11 of 1993, by striking out the date of expiry "April 30, 1994" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30, 1995". 1989 c.8 3. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 8 of 1989, as follows: PART I (a) Item 7 - Carroll's Store and Fisheries Limited - of that schedule, as amended by paragraph 6(a) of chapter 41 of 1990, and paragraph 4(a) of chapter 11 of 1993, is further amended by striking out the date of expiry "August 31, 1993" and by substituting the date of expiry "July 1, 1998"; (b) Item 10 - Fogo Island Co-operative Society Limited - of the Schedule, as amended by paragraph 4(b) of chapter 27 of 1989, paragraph 6(b) of chapter 41 of 1990, paragraph 4(a) of chapter 4 of 1992, paragraph 4(b) of chapter 11 of 1993 and paragraph 4(a) of chapter 30 of 1993, is further amended: (i) by striking out the date of expiry "April 30, 1994" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30, 1995", and (ii) by striking out the statutory amount "$1,300,000" and by substituting the statutory amount "$1,000,000"; and (c) Item 15 - Labrador Inuit Development Corporation - of that Schedule, as amended by item 4 of section 7, Part II of chapter 8 of 1989, paragraph 6(c) of chapter 41 of 1990 and paragraph 4(c) of chapter 11 of 1993, is further amended by striking out the date of expiry "November 30, 1993" and by substituting the date of expiry "May 31, 1995". 1990 c.41 4. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending item 2 of the Schedule - James Doyle (Sr.) and Sons Limited - as enacted by chapter 41 of 1990, as amended by paragraph 3(a) of chapter 6 of 1991, paragraph 5(a) of chapter 4 of 1992 and paragraph 5(a) of chapter 30 of 1993, is further amended by striking out the date of expiry "July 31, 1994" and by substituting the date of expiry " July 31, 1995". 1993 c.11 5. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 11 of 1993, as follows: (a) Item 1 - Atlantic Group Limited - by striking out the date of expiry "March 31, 1994" and by substituting the date of expiry "March 31, 1995"; (b) Item 3 - Earle Brothers Fisheries Limited - as amended by paragraph 7(a)of chapter 30 of 1993, is further amended by striking out the date of expiry "April 30, 1994" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30, 1995"; and (c) Item 6 - P. Janes and Sons Limited - as amended by paragraph 7(c) of chapter 30 of 1993, is further amended: (i) by striking out the date of expiry "April 30, 1994" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30, 1995", and (ii) by striking out the statutory amount "$1,000,000" and by substituting the statutory amount "$800,000". 1993 c.30 6. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending item 3 - Torngat Fish Producers Co-operative Society Limited - as enacted by chapter 30 of 1993, by striking out the date of expiry "May 31, 1994" and by substituting the date of expiry "May 31, 1995". ©Earl G.
