Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

1. The long title of the Hospital and Nursing Home Association Act is repealed and the following substituted:

AN ACT RESPECTING THE NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR HEALTH CARE ASSOCIATION
2. Section 1 of the Act is repealed and the following substituted:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Health Care Association Act.

3. Paragraph 2(a) of the Act is repealed and the following substituted:

(a) "association" means the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Care Association;

4. Section 3 of the Act is repealed and the following substituted:

Association continued

3. The Newfoundland Hospital and Nursing Home Association is continued as a corporation under the name of the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Care Association.
