WHEREAS it appears that the sums mentioned are required to defray certain additional expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and Labrador for the financial year ending March 31, 2004, and for other purposes relating to the public service:

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:


Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Supply Act, 2003-2004 No. 2.

Supplementary Supply 2003-2004

2. From and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund there may be issued by the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board sums not exceeding $46,490,200 and the sums so issued shall be paid and applied by the individual Heads of Expenditure in respect of the financial year extending from April 1, 2003 to March 31, 2004 towards defraying the additional charges and expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and Labrador as set out in the Schedule.
