CHAPTER 8

AN ACT TO REPEAL THE LITERACY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL ACT

(Assented to May 19, 2005)

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

1. The Literacy Development Council Act is repealed.

Crown successor

2. (1) Title to all real and personal property of the Literacy Development Council is vested in the Crown.

(2) The Crown is charged with and assumes all the obligations and liabilities of the Literacy Development Council.

Commencement

3. This Act shall come into force on a day to be proclaimed by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council.
