Transfers of funds Schedule WHEREAS
it appears that the sums mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of
the Public Service of Newfoundland and Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and
House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: Short title 1. This
Act may be cited as the Supply Act, 2009. Further supply
2009-2010 2. From
and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund there may be issued by the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury
Board sums not exceeding $4,224,151,100 in addition to
the sum of $2,235,248,800
authorized by the Interim
Supply Act, 2009 the aggregate of the sums authorized to be issued under
this Act and the Interim Supply Act, 2009
being $6,459,399,900. Effect of
authorization 3. The
sums authorized to be issued by this Act as set out in the Schedule shall be
paid and applied by the several heads of expenditure in respect of the
financial year extending from Transfer of Funds 4. (1) Notwithstanding the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Consolidated Fund Services
(2.1.02 - Ex-Gratia and Other Payments - Non-Statutory) to another Head of
Expenditure during the fiscal year ending (2) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Department of Finance (1.3.01
- Government Personnel Costs) to another Head of Expenditure during the fiscal
year ending (3) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Department of Finance (2.1.04
- Financial Assistance and 2.1.06 - Financial Assistance (Capital)) to another
Head of Expenditure during the fiscal year ending (4) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Executive Council (3.1.06 -
Human Resource Development Initiatives) to another Head of Expenditure during
the fiscal year ending (5) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Department of Environment and
Conservation (1.2.03 - Policy Development and Planning) to another Head of
Expenditure during the fiscal year ending (6) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums, both current and capital, voted within one
Head of Expenditure to another Head of Expenditure during the fiscal year
ending Schedule
