S.140 Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: CITY OF CORNER BROOK ACT RSNL1990 cC-15 1. Section 199 of the City of Street and road names and numbering 199. (1) The council may name and mark all streets and roads within the boundaries of the city. (2) The council may require the owners of all
houses and buildings within the boundaries of the city to attach, in a visible
place, the numbers assigned by the council to those houses and buildings. (3) The council may by regulation establish an appropriate form and size for that numbering. (4) The council may make regulations respecting
the requirements set out in subsection (2). CITY OF RSNL1990 cC-16 2. Section 199 of the City of Street and road

Subsection 140(1) of the City of St. John's Act is repealed and the following substituted: Street names and
numbering 140. (1) It
shall be the duty of council to name new streets and to change the name of
streets where the change is considered advisable. (1.1) The council may require the owners of all houses and buildings within the limits of the city to attach, in a visible place, the numbers assigned by the council to those houses and buildings.
