it appears that the sums mentioned are required to defray certain additional
expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and MAY IT THEREFORE PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY THAT- Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Supply Act, 2013-2014. Supplementary Supply 2013-2014 2. From and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund there may be issued by the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board sums not exceeding $62,517,800 and the sums so issued shall be paid and applied by the Head of Expenditure in respect of the financial year extending from April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 towards defraying the additional charges and expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and Labrador as set out in the Schedule. Transfer of Funds 3. Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Department of Finance,
1.3.01-Government Personnel Costs, to another Head of Expenditure during the
fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, to facilitate expenditures for the
negotiated signing bonus and other costs agreed upon as part of the new
collective agreements negotiated with various unions and applicable to all
public sector employees. Schedule The amount voted in the subhead of the following Head of Expenditure of the 2013-2014 Estimates is increased as follows:
