SUMS OF MONEY FOR DEFRAYING CERTAIN EXPENSES OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE FOR THE
FINANCIAL YEAR ENDING MARCH 31, 2015 (Assented to March 25, 2014) Analysis 1. Short

of funds 4. Commencement Schedule MAY IT PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY- WHEREAS it
appears that the sums mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of the
Public Service of Newfoundland and MAY IT THEREFORE PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY THAT- Be it enacted by
the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened,
as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Interim Supply Act, 2014. Interim Supply 2014-2015 2. From and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund there may be issued by the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board sums not exceeding $2,829,892,500 and the sums so issued shall be paid and applied by the individual Heads of Expenditure in respect of the financial year extending from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015 towards defraying the charges and expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and Labrador as set out in the Schedule. Transfer of funds 3. (1) Notwithstanding the Financial Administration Act, the Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Department of Finance, 1.3.01 - Government Personnel Costs, to another Head of Expenditure during the 2014-2015 Interim Supply period, to facilitate expenditures for compensation, benefits and other associated adjustments, including a signing bonus and salary increase component for collective agreements still outstanding. (2) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within Consolidated Fund Services, 2.1.02
- Ex-Gratia and other Payments, to another Head of Expenditure during the 2014-2015
Interim Supply period, to facilitate expenditures for special retirement and
other payments. (3) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within one Head of Expenditure to
another Head of Expenditure during the 2014-2015 Interim Supply period, to
facilitate expenditures for Financial Assistance, 2.1.04 and 2.1.05, voted
within the Department of Finance. (4) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within one Head of Expenditure to the
Department of Finance - Economics and Statistical Branch, 2.3.01 - Economics
and 2.3.02 - Statistics, during the 2014-2015 Interim Supply period for the
provision of human resource, financial and administrative services affected by
the centralization of services. (5) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Department of Transportation and
Works, 3.3.02 - Development of New Facilities, to another Head of Expenditure
during the 2014-2015 Interim Supply period, to facilitate expenditures for the
planning of infrastructure projects. Commencement 4. This Act comes into
force on April 1, 2014. Schedule
