S.74.1 Amdt. 3. Commencement Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: RSNL1990 cW-11 1. Subsection 74(2) of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act is repealed and the following substituted: (2) For
periods of wage loss after March 31, 2018, the rate used for calculating a
worker's loss of earning capacity shall be 85% of the difference between the
worker's average weekly net earnings at the commencement of his or her loss of
earnings resulting from the injury, subject to the maximum prescribed amount
under subsection 80(8), and the average weekly net earnings the worker is
estimated to be capable of earning at suitable employment after sustaining that
injury. 2. Subsection 74.1(2) of the Act is repealed. Commencement 3. This Act comes into force on April 1, 2018. ©Queen's Printer |
