Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Colonial Building Act.

Provincial historic site

2. The building and land located at St. John's and known as "the Colonial Building and grounds" are declared to be a provincial historic site.

Historic Resources Act

3. The Colonial Building and grounds declared to be a provincial historic site by section 2 are considered to be an historic site for the purpose of the Historic Resources Act and that Act applies to the Colonial Building and grounds in the same manner and to the same extent as if the building and grounds had been declared to be an historic site under that Act.
