1. This Act may be cited as the Transfer of Lands of the Crown Act.

Transfer to the Crown in right of Canada

2. (1) The Lieutenant-Governor in Council may by order transfer, either forever or for a lesser term, to the Crown in right of Canada, the administration and control of the entire or a lesser interest of the Crown in right of the province in lands, including lands to which the Crown Lands Act applies, and the transfer may be made subject to the conditions, restrictions or limitations that the Lieutenant-Governor in council considers advisable.

(2) Where the lands that may be transferred under subsection (1) contain not more than 50 hectares, the Minister of Environment and Lands may, by order, transfer those lands, forever or for a lesser term, to the Crown in right of Canada, subject to the conditions, restrictions or limitations that the minister considers advisable and for the purposes of this section the order is considered to have the effect of an order of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council.
