RULE 41
TRIAL SITTINGS

Dates and places of sittings

41.01. The Court shall sit at each judicial centre

             (a)  between the Monday in September immediately following Labour Day and the last business day preceding the twentieth day of December; and

             (b)  between the first business day following the tenth day of January and the last business day preceding the first day of July.

for the trial of criminal and civil proceedings, with and without a jury.

Right of court to extend sittings

41.02. Notwithstanding any other rule, the Court may extend the time for any sittings or may try any proceeding at any time and at any place.
