PROFILE:

Dwight Ball was born and raised in the Town of Deer Lake in the District of Humber Valley, where he still resides with his partner Sharon. Dwight - who is the second son of five children to Evelyn and the late William Ball – has one daughter, Jade.
He graduated from Elwood Regional High School, Deer Lake and then proceeded to graduate from the School of Pharmacy at Memorial University in St. John’s in 1977.

Dwight was first elected as the MHA for the District of Humber Valley in March 2007 where he served for eight months. He was re-elected in October, 2011 and was appointed Leader of the Official Opposition Party in January 2012.
