EXPLANATORY NOTE The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Liquor Control Act to allow the making of regulations respecting the vacating of premises after the sale of liquor has ceased. |
A AN ACT TO AMEND THE LIQUOR CONTROL ACT Analysis 1.
S.61 Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: RSNL1990 cL-18 as amended 1. (1) Paragraph 61(1)(b) of the Liquor Control Act is repealed and the following substituted: (b) prescribe (i) a time by which licensed premises shall be vacated after the close of sale of alcoholic liquor, and (ii) the days and hours during which alcoholic liquor may be sold and consumed on licensed premises; (2) Section 61 of the Act is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following: (3) For the purpose of paragraph 61(1)(b), (a) different times may be prescribed by which licensed premises shall be vacated after the close of sale of alcoholic liquor; and (b) different days and hours may be prescribed in respect of different kinds of liquor, different licensed premises
or different kinds of them, or different areas of the province, or in respect
