A BILL AN ACT TO AMEND THE CO-OPERATIVES ACT Analysis 1.
S.12 Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: SNL1998 cC-35.1 1. (1) Subsection 12(2) of the Co-operatives Act is repealed and the following substituted: (2) The word "co-operative" or "coopérative" shall be part of the name of every co-operative. (2) Section 12 of the Act is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following: (2.1) A co-operative may set out its name in its articles in an English form, a French form or in a combined English and French form. ©Queen's Printer |
